Producibility of Productive Suite and Miocene reservoir units Hovsan oilfield, Azerbaijan based on 3D seismic data

This paper encompasses the prediction of producibility potential of Pliocene and Miocene reservoir units on Azerbaijan oilfields of Hovsan using seismic dynamic analysis. The complexity of seismic and geological conditions of these types of traps results in the decrease of geological effectivity of 2D seismic exploration, due to the presence of variable directions of reflection surfaces and therefore direction of wave propagation. The paper includes the results of 3D seismic data processing and interpretation and seismic dynamic analysis.
